Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen — supporting the Head Chef, ensuring consistency and quality, and helping lead a motivated team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. You’ll also have the chance to develop your skills and progress within an ambitious hospitality group that values training and internal promotion.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef with all aspects of kitchen management

Lead and motivate the team in the Head Chef’s absence

Maintain consistently high food standards and presentation

Uphold food hygiene and safety regulations at all times

Contribute creative ideas for menus and daily specials

Train, coach, and develop junior kitchen staff
About You
-
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a fresh food kitchen

Passion for quality, flavour, and presentation

Strong leadership and communication skills

Calm, organised, and able to perform under pressure

Flexible to work evenings and weekends

A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
