Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire, UK
Pay Rate: £18.36 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing (7 days/week)
Hours: 06:00 – 13:30 and 11:30 – 19:30
Start Date: ASAP
About Us:
Are you an experienced Sous Chef with a passion for contract catering? KSB Recruitment is delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity where you’ll play a key role within a respected kitchen team at a well-established site in Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality dishes in line with company standards and menu specifications

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety, hygiene, and compliance at all times

Support and mentor junior team members, promoting a positive and efficient working environment

Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, stock control, and maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout the kitchen

Contribute to a smooth and efficient service, ensuring consistency and excellence even during busy periods
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally within contract catering

Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management standards

Ability to lead by example and remain organised under pressure

Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

Genuine passion for cooking and supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality food
