We are recruiting for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join a well-established hotel in Worksop. This impressive property features stunning original architecture, a grand Great Hall, and is set within acres of beautiful parkland. The hotel offers both a high-volume buffet restaurant and a more refined à la carte dining experience, delivering exceptional service across breakfast and dinner.

The Role

As Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will support the management team in the smooth day-to-day operation of multiple dining outlets, including a buffet-style restaurant and an à la carte restaurant.

You will play a key role in supervising front-of-house operations, ensuring high service standards are maintained throughout breakfast and dinner service. Working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager and wider hospitality team, you will help lead, motivate, and support staff while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who leads by example, remains calm under pressure, and is passionate about hospitality and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily Food & Beverage operations across multiple outlets
  • Supervise smooth service delivery across breakfast and dinner sittings
  • Lead and motivate front-of-house teams during service
  • Ensure high standards of guest service and presentation are consistently maintained
  • Assist with staff training, coaching, and development
  • Support management with rota planning and operational organisation
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and health & safety procedures
  • Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with management and wider hotel teams to support business success

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous supervisory experience within a hospitality or Food & Beverage environment
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • A guest-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to remain organised and perform well under pressure
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership
  • Confidence in dealing with operational challenges and guest requests
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends
