We’re now looking for a skilled Head Chef to take charge of our kitchen, delivering quality food that keeps guests coming back.

Our Halifax venue offers a fantastic mix of pub classics, pizzas, burgers, and a popular carvery served Monday to Sunday. The Role
As Sous Chef, you’ll be responsible for running the kitchen day to day — managing everything from food preparation and service to stock control and hygiene standards. You’ll lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver consistently high-quality dishes, whether it’s a Sunday roast, freshly made pizza, or hearty burger.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from prep to service
- Lead, train, and motivate your kitchen team to deliver quality food consistently
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Manage stock, ordering, and cost control effectively
- Create and deliver fresh, crowd-pleasing dishes that fit our pub menu style
- Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth service and great communication
About You
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a busy pub or restaurant
- Passionate about fresh, good-quality food and seasonal cooking
- A strong leader who can motivate and develop a team
- Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Knowledgeable in stock management, GP, and kitchen cost control
