Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum + tronc

Situated in the centre of the village, the pub enjoys views down the high street and serves as a hub for locals and visitors alike. With a welcoming bar and restaurant, the venue focuses on quality, seasonal food in a relaxed and authentic setting.

What We Offer

• Competitive Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum + tronc

• Paid Overtime: Additional hours paid at national minimum wage

Key Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing a brigade

• Overseeing preparation, service and kitchen organisation

• Driving consistency and quality across all food offerings

• Assisting with menu development and seasonal dish creation

• Managing stock, ordering and kitchen operations efficiently

• Ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up

• Passion for traditional pub food

• Strong leadership skills with a calm, hands-on approach

• Organised, reliable and a strong team player

• Flexible to work evenings and weekends

• Ability to work well in a rural, community-focused environment
