Location: Mid Wales (Bordering Shropshire)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Tronc & Bonus
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Live-in Accommodation: Private flat provided free of charge

Role

Take full ownership of a beautiful Gothic-style country house hotel set in the heart of the Welsh countryside. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a unique hospitality business with 11 individually designed bedrooms, a popular restaurant, afternoon tea offering, and a year-round holiday home park.

With real autonomy to run the business, you’ll oversee all aspects of the operation while delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the hotel, restaurant and holiday park.

• Lead, motivate and develop a small, dedicated team.

• Oversee bedrooms, food and beverage, events and estate activities.

• Manage budgets, stock and operational performance.

• Maintain high standards of guest service across all areas.

• Coordinate busy seasonal periods, including the shoot season.

• Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Manager, or an experienced Deputy or Assistant Manager ready to step up.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Experience managing a multi-department hospitality operation.

• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance.

• Hands-on, organised and able to lead by example.

• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

• Looking for a long-term opportunity with genuine autonomy.
