Chef de Partie

Location: Isle of Scilly
Salary: £2,400 – £2,750 per month DOE + Paid Overtime
Contract: Fixed-Term, Full-Time (until end of October)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join an award-winning 2 Rosette restaurant in the stunning Isle of Scilly.

This is a fixed-term, full-time position running until the end of October, offering the chance to work with exceptional local produce, particularly some of the finest seafood in the UK, in one of the country’s most picturesque and tranquil locations.

This role would suit an experienced Chef de Partie looking to develop their skills within a quality-driven kitchen.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced and passionate kitchen team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the surrounding coastline and local suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to 2 Rosette standards
  • Working across different sections of the kitchen as required
  • Maintaining excellent food presentation and consistency
  • Assisting with the preparation of fresh local seafood and seasonal produce
  • Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Supporting senior chefs during busy service periods
  • Assisting with stock rotation and waste control
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workstation
  • Contributing ideas for seasonal menus and daily specials where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a quality kitchen
  • Strong experience working in a fast-paced professional kitchen
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and seafood
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team

Desirable

  • Experience within a Rosette or fine dining environment
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Passion for local and sustainable produce
