Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy garden centre kitchen in Biggleswade who are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) to support their team on a temporary, ad hoc basis starting in July.
This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys daytime hours, a relaxed but busy environment, and flexible working. You will be assisting with the preparation and delivery of fresh, simple dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking fresh dishes to a high standard

Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

Ensuring food is presented consistently and professionally

Maintaining excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards

Assisting with prep, stock rotation, and organisation

Working efficiently within a small, friendly team

Following all health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up

Experience in a busy kitchen environment

Ability to work well under pressure

Reliable, flexible, and available for ad hoc shifts

Strong attention to detail and food hygiene standards

Team player with a positive attitude
