Chef – Weekend Events

About the Role:

We’re looking for experienced, adaptable Event Chefs to support our client in Bradford throughout their busy December schedule. This event-based role involves preparing and serving high-quality food for large functions, including weddings, parties, corporate events, and celebrations.

You’ll be working as part of a professional events team, delivering excellent food under pressure and maintaining strong standards of presentation and consistency.

What the Role Includes:

• Preparing and cooking fresh or pre-prepared dishes for large-scale events

• Supporting banquet-style service, buffet setups, or plated menus depending on the event

• Maintaining excellent food quality, presentation, and timing during high-volume service

• Working collaboratively with the wider events team to ensure smooth service

• Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and allergen control standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a chef within events, hospitality, banqueting, or large-volume catering

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, flexible, and capable of adapting to different event styles

• Available to work weekend shifts throughout December

• Valid Enhanced DBS preferred (not essential unless required by specific event)
