General Manager – Cheshire Area
Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum + 10% profit share
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 45 hours per week
Pub Type: Community Wet & Dry Led Pub (with exciting refurbishment planned)
Are you an experienced and ambitious General Manager looking for your next opportunity? We’re recruiting a General Manager for a well-established community pub in the Cheshire area, part of a successful and growing pub company. With a planned site transformation in early 2025, this is a fantastic chance to put your stamp on a business and lead it through an exciting new chapter.
This role has become available due to internal progression, highlighting the strong development opportunities within the group.

Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of day-to-day pub operations
- Recruit, train, and lead a motivated front-of-house team
- Drive wet and dry sales while maintaining excellent standards
- Manage stock control, ordering, and GP
- Deliver outstanding customer service and community engagement
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or strong Deputy/Assistant Manager ready to step up
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercially minded with a passion for driving sales
- Hands-on, energetic, and customer-focused approach
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and 1 weekend off in 4
- Driving preferred due to location
