We are recruiting for a Head of Food & Beverage to join a high-quality riverside hotel in Staines-upon-Thames. This is a senior leadership role overseeing a diverse food and beverage operation, including multiple restaurants, bars, and leisure-led outlets, with a strong emphasis on guest experience, operational excellence, and commercial performance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all food and beverage operations across the hotel. Working closely with senior stakeholders and kitchen leadership, you will ensure seamless daily operations, consistently high service standards, and full compliance with all regulatory requirements, while driving revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimise all food and beverage operations across multiple restaurants, bars, and outlets
- Provide strong frontline leadership, ensuring smooth service delivery and effective shift handovers
- Deliver P&L performance for Food & Beverage, controlling labour, stock, waste, and operating costs
- Implement centrally developed menus, promotions, and revenue-driving initiatives at a local level
- Manage labour planning, rotas, and staffing levels to meet service and budget requirements
- Champion exceptional guest experiences through service standards, coaching, and quality monitoring
- Recruit, train, develop, and performance-manage Food & Beverage teams, building engagement and succession
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing legislation, managing audits and corrective actions
- Support wider hotel operations through Duty Management shifts and cross-department collaboration
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies and service enhancements
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior Food & Beverage leadership role within a multi-outlet hospitality environment
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on P&L, labour, and cost control experience
- A people-focused leader with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced setting
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and licensing compliance
- Confident using EPOS, stock control, and rota systems, with strong organisational and reporting skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
