Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and school policies.

Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, stock control, and ensuring food safety compliance.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all food preparation and serving areas.

Cater to special dietary needs and allergies, ensuring all meals meet required health and nutrition standards.

Work collaboratively with school staff to support healthy eating initiatives and promote a positive dining experience for pupils.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:

Proven experience as a School Chef, ideally within a contract catering environment

Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene

A DBS (ideally enhanced)
