Location: Leicester City Centre
Salary: £42,000–£50,000 per annum + Performance Bonus
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Role

Lead a busy sports bar in the heart of Leicester City Centre, with the autonomy to shape the business, drive revenue and build a high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has a proven track record of growing sales and delivering commercial success.

You’ll take full ownership of the venue, working strategically to maximise revenue, enhance the customer experience and establish the bar as one of Leicester’s leading sports and entertainment destinations.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the venue.
• Develop and deliver strategies to increase sales, profitability and customer footfall.
• Lead, motivate and develop the management and front-of-house teams.
• Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue.
• Manage weekly sales, ensuring strong financial performance.
• Control budgets, labour costs, stock and profit margins.
• Create and deliver successful promotions, events and sports-led experiences.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and ensure full licensing and health & safety compliance.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Manager or senior hospitality manager within a sports bar, pub, late-night venue or similar hospitality business.
• Proven success in growing sales and developing a hospitality venue.
• Experience managing weekly revenues of at least £15,000–£20,000.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret business performance and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Good knowledge of the local hospitality market and customer trends.
• Organised, driven and confident working with a high level of autonomy.
