Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen with autonomy, including menu planning and daily specials.

Prepare and cook all dishes to a high standard, with a particular emphasis on making fresh sauces from scratch.

Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards (Level 2 certification required).

Manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen organisation.

Train, support, and collaborate with the Assistant Chef/FOH team when required.

Ensure smooth service for up to 60 covers (30 inside, 30 outside – weather dependent).
Requirements

Level 2 Food Hygiene & Allergen Awareness certification.

Several years’ experience in a fresh food environment.

Strong passion for cooking fresh, quality food with creativity and flair.

Ability to work independently and manage the kitchen effectively.
