This stunning country house hotel is set within the beautiful Vale of Evesham, close to the Cotswolds. The property dates back over 700 years and combines historic character with contemporary hospitality.
The hotel features a boutique bedroom offering, bar and lounges, and a highly regarded restaurant operating at 2 rosette standard. The kitchen delivers modern English and European cuisine with international influences, using locally sourced, seasonal produce.
Service includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, room service, and a steady calendar of functions and weddings, typically serving around 30 covers per evening alongside events.

• Competitive Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum for a 45-hour week

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Maintaining consistent 2 rosette standard food across all services
• Leading, motivating and developing a brigade of 4–5 chefs and Kitchen Porters
• Overseeing preparation, service and kitchen organisation
• Assisting with menu development and seasonal dish creation
• Ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
• Supporting restaurant service, functions and weddings
• Deputising for the Head Chef when required
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
• Background in 2 rosette standard or similar quality-driven kitchens
• Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and food quality
• Strong leadership skills with a calm, hands-on approach
• Organised, reliable and a strong team player
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and event-led services
