About Us:
Looking for flexible school catering work? KSB Recruitment is recruiting Catering Assistants to support busy school kitchens in Oakham. You’ll help deliver nutritious meals in a friendly, fast-paced environment while being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals efficiently, following school meal standards
• Set up and clear dining areas and assist with school events
• Maintain clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and service areas
• Support daily kitchen tasks including portion control and stock rotation
• Deliver a positive and professional service to staff and students
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete)
• Positive attitude and strong team player
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Flexible and reliable for temporary cover and ad hoc shifts
