Hours: up to 9 hours a day
Pay Rate: from £21 per hour DOE
About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a small, high-quality gastro pub in St Albans. You’ll take full ownership of a fresh, seasonal menu and work closely with a small team to deliver delicious, well-presented dishes that our guests love.
This is a fantastic opportunity to put your own stamp on a friendly, community-focused pub, where creativity, consistency, and quality ingredients are at the heart of everything we do.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a fresh food kitchen

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a small team

A real passion for flavour, presentation, and creating memorable dishes

Excellent organisation, reliability, and the ability to stay calm during busy services

Someone who can start as soon as possible
