£33,000 + £2,000-£5,000 in tips/tronc | 45 Hours per Week | Hotel Operations | Relocation Support Available
We’re looking for an experienced hotel professional to join this management team as Duty Manage within a Luxury Hotel in Derbyshire. This is a hands-on operational role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, supporting multiple departments and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
You’ll need previous hotel management or supervisory experience, excellent organisational skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. Flexibility is essential, as you’ll work a mixture of early and late shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel.
- Support Reception, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams whenever required.
- Act as the main point of contact for guest enquiries, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Ensure bedrooms, public areas and guest facilities consistently meet high standards.
- Coordinate special occasions, weddings and VIP arrivals to ensure every detail is delivered.
- Step into operational departments during busy periods or staff absences.
- Work closely with department managers to maintain exceptional service across the hotel.
- Lead by example, providing visible support and maintaining a positive team culture.
Rewards
- £33,000 basic salary.
- Excellent gratuities, typically worth an additional £2,000–£5,000 per year.
- 45-hour contract.
- Rotating shifts (typically 7:00am–4:00pm or 2:00pm–close).
