This stunning country house hotel is set within the beautiful Vale of Evesham, close to the Cotswolds. The property dates back over 700 years and combines historic character with contemporary hospitality.

The hotel features boutique bedrooms, stylish bar and lounge areas, and a highly regarded restaurant operating at 2 rosette standard. The kitchen delivers modern English and European cuisine with international influences, using locally sourced, seasonal produce.

Service includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, room service, and a steady calendar of functions and weddings, typically serving around 30 covers per evening alongside events.

 

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per annum (45-hour week)
  • Paid Overtime: Additional hours paid at national minimum wage
  • Tips: Approximately £100 per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Running and managing your designated section of the kitchen
  • Preparing and delivering dishes to a consistent 2 rosette standard
  • Assisting senior chefs with prep, service, and daily kitchen operations
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to a positive kitchen culture
  • Assisting with menu preparation and seasonal changes
  • Working across all service periods including restaurant service and events

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
  • Experience within a quality-driven kitchen (rosette experience beneficial)
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and high-quality food
  • Strong work ethic with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a professional kitchen environment
  • Reliable, organised, and a strong team player
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and event-led services
