Catering Assistant Job
Location: Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, UK
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: 08:00 – 15:00 (Mon-Fri)
Duration: 27th February – 13th March

Are you an experienced Catering Assistant looking for a new opportunity? KSB Recruitment is delighted to be working on an exciting role where you’ll play an important part in a hardworking kitchen team at a well-established site in Colchester.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve food and beverages following portioning and presentation standards

Prepare basic cold food and made-to-order items

Take payments and maintain accurate financial records

Restock goods and maintain displays

Clean counters, equipment, and public areas

Report feedback, issues, or hazards to the line manager

Follow food hygiene and safety procedures

Complete daily paperwork and required training
Requirements:

Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (training can be provided)

1–2 years’ experience in food service or retail is desirable (not essential)

Good level of spoken English
-
Flexibility to meet business needs

Enhanced DBS required
