Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager – Italian Restaurant

Salary: Up to £30,000 + Monthly Service Charge

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Assistant Manager to join a busy, independently owned Italian restaurant in Leamington. Known for its fresh pasta and evolving menu, this venue offers a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role with real responsibility.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Overseeing the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager

• Taking customer orders and delivering high-quality service

• Handling customer complaints in a professional, solution-focused way

• Carrying out cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation tasks

• Supporting and leading the front-of-house team

• Ensuring smooth service during busy evening periods

What We’re Looking For:

• Hospitality experience is essential

• Previous supervisor or management experience in a restaurant or pub setting

• Comfortable with table service and a strong understanding of food and drink

• Confident dealing with customers and staff in a calm, professional way

• Experience with cash handling and closing procedures

The Offer:

• Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience

• Staff meal provided on shift

• Share of service charge based on hours worked (can add £200 a month)

• 45 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday

• Set days off: Sunday and Monday

Working Hours:

• Open Tuesday–Saturday

• Shift patterns vary (mornings, middays, evenings)

• Closing times: Tuesday to Thursday – 9 PM, Friday and Saturday – 11 PM
