KSB Recruitment are working with an establishment in the Peak District who have a position available for a Sous Chef to join their brigade. You will receive the opportunity to work alongside a multi-awarded Head Chef to take on the challenge of pushing the food offering.
SOUS CHEF DUTIES:
- Running the kitchen when the Head Chef is away
- Ensuring your brigade has high culinary standards
- Managing food purchasing and storage
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
- Helping create new recipes and write menus
Due to location car driver essential though staff accommodation can be provided if available
- A flair with ingredients
- An ability to stay calm when the pressure mounts
- Strong leadership skills to motivate your brigade of chefs
- First rate culinary skills
- Ability to liaise with suppliers and develop the brigade
