Junior Sous Chef
KSB Recruitment are a specialist recruitment company and we have been selected to recruit for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to work within a traditional Gastropub, located in Solihull. Our client is looking for a Chef who can support the Head Chef and the brigade with running the kitchen, maintaining standards and assisting with the training of employees.This establishment is apart of an independent group with other restaurants located within Lapworth and Stratford-Upon Avon. Progression opportunities are certainly available once you have settled and developed within your role.
Industry Leading Salary Package – The salary on offer for this position is £22,000 – 24,000 PA with an average on £5,000 TIPS (tax-free)

- Support the lower-level chefs during busy service time
- Ensure the kitchen adheres to all Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations
- Ensure a smooth operation within the kitchen
- Excellent plate presentation with the ability to train other chefs within the brigade
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Similar experience within high-end establishments
- Industry relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
