Chef de Partie
KSB Recruitment are working with a contract catering who are looking for a Chef de Partie to work at a conference centre located in High Wycombe.
The Chef Manager has an inspirational, fresh and dynamic approach and is looking for a Chef de Partie to join him on a permanent basis.
The menu is planned and designed, often bespoke to clients on a daily basis. The opportunity to turn your hand to experimenting with new cuisines and offerings is certainly available to you at this establishment.
If you are interested in getting involved with local competitions the Chef Manager is certainly one to encourage this. He has spent his career participating in and supporting many competitions, he is now an adjudicator sitting on the panel for many well know competitions in the area.
Your contracted hours will be 9-hour shifts working 5 days per week. Weekends are quiet and your two days off will often be back to back and your rotas will be given to you in advance.
The Chef Manager has put this in place as he promotes a healthy work life balance and has a fair approach with his brigade. He promotes a give and take working relationship and at times, when the business demands it, will ask for your help he will ensure the favour is returned.
Weekends are quiet due to this being a conferencing building and you should expect at least 1 weekend DAY off per week included in your 2 days. Example: Friday & Saturday off or Saturday & Sunday off or Sunday & Monday off – This could vary.
Christmas period OFF – Close down of business, other school holidays are also quiet.
Hours, 09:30 STARTS for an early shift and a 13:00 START for a late shift. Your flexibility surrounding shifts is appreciated.
