Chef de Partie

KSB Recruitment are a specialist recruitment company located in the West Midlands. We have been selected to recruit for a Chef de Partie to work at our client’s fiery Argentinian Steak House restaurant in Shirley, Solihull.

Our client is looking for a Sous Chef who can support the Head Chef with running the kitchen functions, maintain standards and assist with the training of employees. Charcoal experience will be beneficial when applying for this role, though training can be provided.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Run the pass during busy service time
  • Ensure the kitchen adheres to all Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations
  • Ensure a smooth operation within the kitchen
  • Excellent plate presentation with the ability to train other chefs within the brigade
  • Split shifts
  • Restaurant peaks to 250 covers over the weekend, fairly steady in the week.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong Leadership skills, firm but fair approach
  • Charcoal experience favourable
  • Communication
  • Food Hygiene Level 3
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience within a kitchen
  • Industry relevant qualifications or equivalent experience

The salary for this Chef de Partie position is a circa of £20,000 though negotiable with appropriate experience.
